Oakdale Park is a 14-acre public park in downtown Hudson, NY, a walkable destination for many residents that is free and open to the public. It is home to a 4-acre spring fed lake, a small sand beach, a ½-mile loop trail, basketball courts, and a small playground. It is home to the Hudson Youth Department’s free 6-week summer day camp. The beach at Oakdale is public and available for the community to use however, it is against city rules to swim without a lifeguard on duty.
