Community Resources

While our space at the Youth Center is primarily for programming for youth in the city of Hudson, we do offer a number of opportunities to the rest of the residents in the greater Hudson area as well. Below you will find information not only on what we have to offer, but also links to other organizations in the community that offer opportunities to the youth and young adults in our community.

Alumni night at the youth center

Wednesday nights for the 2023-24 school year we will offer an opportunity for members of the community who used to use the Youth Center to come back and spend some time in the gym playing basketball or useing our rec room to hang out and play. This will only be Wednesdays, from 8:00-10, and all participants must be registered, renewing their registration yearly. Youth participating in teen programming will have the option to stay and play for Alumni night as well. Click here to register as an alumni.

community open gym

On Sundays from 10-1 we are offering open gym time to the community. Participants must sign a waiver to participate in the activities, and pay a small fee. We are going to rotate through different sports such as basketball, soccer, pickleball, badminton, etc. and you will be able to find out what is scheduled for the week by checking the calendar on this website, here. To register for community open gym use, click here.

building rental

The Youth Center is also available for rental to members of the community for use for special events when not being used for programming. There is a fee of $50 for every 3 hours the center is rented for, this includes set up and clean up. We cannot rent the building on holidays, and alcohol is not permitted in the building or on the grounds. Please click here to fill out a building use request form.
